Great meeting topic and demonstrations.  Everyone was impressed with the home-brew battery as well as the very lightweight power stations for portable operation.

Next NB9QV Cobia Event – Museum Ships on the Air – June 2019

This is the NB9QV’s USS Cobia Amateur Radio Club second event of the year.  The group also sponsors another special event for Veteran’s Day in November.

Local amateur radio operators set up in the crew’s mess aboard the U.S.S. Cobia, docked at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum in Manitowoc and talk to people around the world.. Members of the Museum and the Radio Club consider it a distinct honor and a privilege to participate in this annual event. Visitors can see and talk with Amateur Radio Club NB9QV members on board the submarine during these special events.
