ARES/RACES (Emergency Communications)
Licensed amateur radio operators living in Manitowoc County interested in joining Manitowoc County ARES/RACES should download and complete a membership application by clicking here. Completed applications can be mailed to Manitowoc County RACES, at 1024 S 9th St, Manitowoc, WI 54220.
Please Note: Members of Manitowoc County ARES/RACES are required to participate in a minimum number of nets, meetings, training, or exercises each year to maintain membership in good standing. This includes participation in a minimum of one (1) Tuesday evening net per quarter and attend two (2) meetings, drills/exercises, and/or emergency activations per year. This is to ensure that all members are trained and ready to provide communications during disasters in the community.
